The new Bivy Stick and Bivy App from ACR transforms your smartphone into a fully functioning piece of satellite communication equipment. There are no activation fees; simply connect your phone to the Bivy Stick via Bluetooth to enjoy the global connectivity levels of the Iridium satellite network. It’s reliable satellite connectivity, wherever you are in the world.
The Bivy Stick is as compact as it is powerful and can be easily mounted to any vehicle, backpack, or structure. It comes with a raft of built-in features including two-way SMS messaging, SOS calls, location sharing, one-touch Check-in, and in-depth weather reports sent right to your smartphone. You will also be assigned a dedicated phone number and email meaning your nearest and dearest have a private and secure way of keeping in contact without the need to initiate first contact.

With the Bivy App, users have access to more than 50,000 adventures spanning many outdoor activities. From there, users are given a wealth of stats including current pace, mileage, altitude, as well as offline maps so you know where you are even when mobile network connectivity is unavailable.

TRACKING
Automated tracking is available on this device meaning contacts back home can follow your journey or you can monitor the movement of your assets.
SOS
Once the emergency button is pressed on your beacon, your location will be sent to a rescue coordination centre via satellite. This SOS is then diverted to emergency services near to your location to aid rescue. The location will be continuously sent for a minimum of 24 hours.
